Plastic Cups with Lids Wholesale: Sizes, Lid Fits and Case Counts
The quick answer
For wholesale plastic cups with lids, choose three things: the size (16 oz or 24 oz), the lid (straw lid or strawless sip lid) and the material for the drink you serve. JiaroPack's cups are clear, food-grade PET and are listed for cold drinks. They come as matched cup and lid sets, 800 sets to a case, from about 14 cents a set.
Cup sizes and lid options
JiaroPack's plastic cups with lids come in four combinations, all sold 800 sets to a case:
| Size | Lid | Sets per case | Best for |
|---|---|---|---|
| 16 oz | Lid with straw | 800 | Iced coffee, iced tea, soda |
| 16 oz | Strawless sip lid | 800 | Iced coffee and tea to go, with no straw |
| 24 oz | Lid with straw | 800 | Large iced drinks and smoothies |
| 24 oz | Strawless sip lid | 800 | Large drinks to go, with no straw |
Stock changes by size. When we checked on October 19, 2026, the 16 oz sets were in stock and the 24 oz sets were not, so confirm on the product page before you plan around a size.
Straw lid or sip lid?
- Lid with straw: the standard iced-drink setup. Pair it with the straws you stock and the lid takes a straw through the opening.
- Strawless sip lid: a sip-through opening, so you save on straws and avoid straw bans. JiaroPack describes the lids as airtight, intended to reduce leaks and spills in transit.
Pack counts and cost per set
Every size is priced the same per case. The more cases you order, the lower the cost per set, using the prices listed on October 19, 2026:
| Order | Price per case | Sets | Cost per set |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 case | $110 | 800 | 13.8¢ |
| 4 cases | $107 | 3,200 | 13.4¢ |
| 8 cases | $103 | 6,400 | 12.9¢ |
| 50 cases | $98 | 40,000 | 12.2¢ |
A "set" is one cup with its lid. Prices change, so check the product page before you order.
Material: what PET means for your drinks
JiaroPack's cups are made from thick, clear PET plastic that is food-grade and BPA-free. PET is clear and rigid, which makes it a good choice for cold drinks: iced coffee, iced tea, smoothies and juices. The listing recommends them for cold beverages and does not describe them as hot-drink cups, so do not use them for hot coffee or tea.
If you serve hot drinks, you need a cup made for heat. Ask the supplier for the temperature rating of any cup before you promise it to customers.
Matching straws to your cups
If you choose the straw lid, match the straw to the cup. Our individually wrapped straws come in two lengths, 7.75 in and 10.2 in, 3,000 to a case. As a rule of thumb, the shorter straw suits a 16 oz cup and the longer straw suits a 24 oz cup, so the straw clears the lid. Test one with your real lids before you order a case.
How many cases do you need?
Count the drinks you sell in a week, then divide by 800. For example, a cafe selling 150 iced drinks a day uses about 4,500 cups in a month, which is about six cases. (This is an illustrative example.) Order enough to hit the next price tier, and keep storage in mind: 800 cups is a large carton.
Common mistakes
- Using cold cups for hot drinks. These cups are listed for cold beverages.
- Buying the wrong lid. A straw lid and a sip lid are not interchangeable.
- Ordering one size for every drink. A 16 oz and a 24 oz cover most iced menus.
- Comparing price per case. Compare cost per set.
- Skipping a test. Fill a cup, fit the lid and carry it before you order a case.
